Actor Daniel Craig believes it’s time for a change, a change to the tune of a Black James Bond, and of course Diddy believes it should be him.
Sorry to burst your bubble Diddy, but this mess right here is exactly what people do not need right now; self-indulgent, overbearing entertainers trying to buy their way into roles that hard-working actors work their butts off to achieve.
Not to mention, spending almost a millie on your audition tape is just down right obscene during a recession. How about dropping that $750K on a public school, or a small business in need? Care to donate to the big 3 auto giants so they can make payroll this month?
All narcissistic egos aside, for some reason, I’m thinking this completely overbearing audition could possibly work in Diddy’s favor. Why? Because that’s how twisted Hollyweird has become. If you have a minute (or 7), feast your eyes on this travesty of an infomercial dedicated to his I Am King fragrance.
Jamie Foxx on the other hand, would like to be considered for the role of 007 and I’m with him on that. Along with Jamie, other names on the Black 007 wishlist are Idris Elba, Taye Diggs, Sharif Atkins and Lance Reddick.<

I dont know about a black James Bond, something doesnt sit right about that, but if there is going to be one I vote for Idris Elba.

In the event there is a black Bond I can’t see Diddy in that role. I don’t think he gets it. Instead of trying to buy his way into a role or making a $750K ad, he could use that money to help community drama schools stay in business.

Idris is TOO laid back. He would put me to sleep. I vote for Taye for the suave attitude and acting background.

My vote goes to the Black British actor Colin Salmon http://tinyurl.com/ntunj. He’s got the mega smooth and linguistic skills necessary to make a Black Bond believable. Remember, Bond has always been slick with the lingo.
Diddy hasn’t even conquered the English language yet! Yes, he dresses nice, and looks hella good when he does so…but then he speaks.

You are right, it takes much more than Diddy’s wardrobe, plus he’s too blinged out. Bond doesn’t wear big ass watches and chains with two diamond earrings. Diddy’s just crazy.
